Baylor has one of the highest scoring teams in the nation and they have Heisman winner Robert Griffin III under center and on top of that the Bears won their last 5 games of the season.

Washington did win the big Apple Cup rivalry game in their season finale beating Washington State, but they lost their previous 3 games. They will face a Baylor team that is on fire and the Bears are the 12th ranked team in the nation.
This season the Huskies were 0-3 facing ranked teams and in those 3 games gave up an average of 50 ppg.
To say this game may be a shootout is a tad of an understatement, as Washington has the nation’s 116th ranked pass defense while Baylor ranks 112th.
The Huskies will have to deal with a Baylor offense that had almost twice as many TD (31) than punts (16) in their 5-game winning streak.
Griffin’s 2 main targets are WR Kendall Wright (101 rec 1,572 yards 13 TD) and WR Terrance Williams (53 rec 895 yards 11 TD) and both of these guys averaged at least 15 yards per catch on the season.
The Huskies will really have their hands full and their offense may have to light up the scoreboard if they cannot keep the Bears from doing the same.
Griffin is also a legit rushing QB with 644 rushing yards this season and Baylor RB Terrance Ganaway had almost 400 rushing yards in the last 2 games. UW ranks 55th in the nation in run defense and they will be tested in this game, big time.
It is interesting that when the Huskies faced teams with great QB’s in Andrew Luck of Stanford and Matt Barkley of USC neither of these guys had big games, but UW gave up a ton of rushing yards in both of those losses.
With the issues the Huskies have on D and the offense the Bears have 2 UW guys that may have to have HUGE games are QB Kevin Price and RB Chris Polk.
Polk rushed for over 100 yards in his last 2 games of the season and he may be the key facing Baylor and their 102nd ranked run defense, as the more he can move the chains on the ground the more Griffin and the dynamic Baylor offense will be stuck on the sidelines.

Baylor obviously has the offense and on top of that they will have some home field advantage with this game being held in the Lone Star State.
I think the Bears will win in a big-time shootout in one of the more exciting bowl games to watch this season.
