Washington
They are also sitting atop the PAC 12 Conference with a chance to further prove that this team could actually earn an at large bid in the tournament if need be.
Thursday night’s game at Oregon should definitely be the tougher of the two as the Ducks find themselves with a winning record in conference play at the moment.
For the purpose of this piece I am ignoring the Huskies easy win against USC from last weekend. In the nail-biter against UCLA it was Terrence Ross to the rescue. The sophomore was super efficient with 22 points (9 for 12 from the floor) supported on the glass by Aziz N’Diaye’s 11 boards.
Speaking of boards the Huskies need to get more production out of power forward Darnell Gant. He played 29 minutes against the Bruins and only got one rebound.
For this team to really click he needs to pound the glass to get the break going.

Pac-12 Hoops: Washington vs Oregon
Oregon
The Oregon Ducks have certainly been a nice surprise this season. They have been really sharp at home (although not against the number 3-8 ATS) and are looking like they should qualify for one of the post season tournaments (although probably not the big one).
There might not be a team in the nation that is getting more from its transfers with guard Devoe Joseph leading the team in scoring and forward Alu Oshalu second on the squad in rebounding. This team can compete in the PAC 12 against pretty much anyone, most of the time.
Working with those two transfers is wing E.J. Singler whose style, if not ceiling, is similar to his brother’s.
His numbers keep going up every year and by the time he graduates he might be one of the all time Ducks – for whatever that his worth. He is going to have his hands full with either Terrence Ross or Tony Wroten on Thursday night.
If he can play with them and shoot well they might have a chance to upset the Huskies.
Spread Pick: Washington +1
O/U Pick: Under
Score Prediction: Washington 77 – Oregon 68
