College Basketball Betting – Huskies Aim to Stop Slide Against Gauchos
The Gauchos (4-2) still have to play at San Diego on Tuesday night and if you see them favored or close underdogs, it’s not a BetOnline scam.
UC-Santa Barbara gave then-No.20 UNLV all they could handle in a 94-88 double overtime loss at home.
Orlando Johnson had a monster game with 36 points and 10 boards, while James Nunnally added 14 points for the Gauchos, who didn’t lose by much, there were just little plays here and there that were the difference and sometimes, that’s all it takes.
UC-Santa Barbara plays in the Big West and like Washington, they’ll be looking to learn from their mistakes and be a threat in their conference. Their two losses prior to the San Diego game were in overtime, and now it’s a matter of whether their legs hold up.
The Huskies (4-4) lost their third straight game in an 86-80 loss to Duke at Madison Square Garden, their second straight game in New York City after a tough loss to Marquette and those who use price per head software will point out that their three losses came by a combined 11 points, including one in overtime.
Tony Wroten Jr. came off the bench to score 23 points, while C.J. Wilcox was next with 22 points for the Huskies, who were down by 14 points at halftime and had to battle back to give the Blue Devils a scare.
The Huskies now begin a five-game stretch at home, and that could give them plenty of confidence heading into the Pac-12 season.
Washington should be the favorite according to bookies that use price per head sports services, and this is their first meeting with the Gauchos.
Both teams love to get up and down the floor and both are ranked in the top 10 nationally in terms of rebounding, and the glass may be the area where the game is decided.
This will be the second of a five-game road trip for the Gauchos and they’ll be three days removed from their game in San Diego, while the Huskies had six days off following their week in New York and should be fully recovered, especially in front of their home fans.
It may be close for the first half, but bet on Washington to pull away and cover the college basketball betting spread.
