Fans of the Calgary Flames may also dabble in college basketball (their hockey team isn’t much to watch, but that is another story), especially in the northwest part of the United States.

NCAA Basketball Odds – Cougars Make Road Trip To Idaho On Wednesday

The Cougars (4-4) raced out to a 16-point lead by halftime and never looked back in a 75-49 romp over Eastern Washington, and a sportsbook review of this game would tell you that defense was the story as Washington State held the Eagles to 25.4% from the field.

Charlie Enquist led the way with 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Brock Motum and Reggie Moore added 15 points apiece for the Cougars, who also held a 41-23 edge on the boards.

However, those who use price per head bookie companies know that they Cougars can’t afford to have many more games where they have 20 turnovers, as they did against Eastern Washington, and they’ll have to take better care of the ball on the road.

The Vandals (4-3) rolled to a 94-74 win at UC-Davis, courtesy of a 56.1% shooting day, and they forced 18 turnovers while committing only nine themselves.

Stephen Madison had 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Deremy Geiger netted 18 points for the Vandals, who were active on both ends of the floor and they’ll have to bring that energy to this stretch of games as they’ll travel to Oregon State on Friday night.

WSU vs. Idaho Betting Odds & Handicapping Preview

Idaho has a chance to win the WAC this season and games against teams from the Pac-12 can only help their confidence, but they’ll need performances similar to the one they had against UC-Davis.

Bookies that use betting software will likely have the Cougars favored as they’ve haven’t lost to Idaho since 1997, a span of 16 games, and they’re 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings with the Vandals, with four games falling under the posted total.

Both teams are very efficient when it comes to making shots, and defense is going to be a story in this game as there will be pressure on the teams to force the opposition into taking bad shots.

Idaho showed they could force turnovers, and Washington State had issues taking care of the ball in their last game, although they managed to get by as they played a team that wasn’t that good.

Streaks are made to be broken, and the Vandals will be out for an upset on Wednesday.

WSU:

WAST are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Wed. games.

Idaho:

Over is 12-2 in IDAHO last 14 home games.
Over is 7-2 in IDAHO last 9 overall.
Over is 8-3 in IDAHO last 11 non-conference games.
