They begin their 42nd NBA season by hosting the Philadelphia 76ers and The Trail Blazers close out the 2011-12 NBA regular season at Utah on Thursday, April 26.
I have to admit I’m impressed with the NBA for how quickly they threw this together. My first impression for Portland. They play seven of their first 10 games at home and close the season by playing five of its last six on the road.
Portland will play 18 games against Eastern Conference opponents (nine home, nine away).
This just hitting the news wires as well yesterday. Coach McMillan is leaning toward putting Brandon Roy back in the starting lineup. Blazers President Larry Miller stopped short of declaring the team won’t eventually waive Brandon Roy under the amnesty clause in the new labor agreement as well.
WOW Shocker.
What we do know for 100% certainty is we’re going to have NBA hoops in December.
NBA Action, it’s FAAAAANTASTIC!
