Gaddy has to live up to the hype that has followed him since high school, when he was the second ranked point guard in the nation, behind John Wall and above Peyton Siva and Eric Bledsoe.

It also helped that Washington ranked 5th in rebounding and 35th in scoring thanks to Terrence Ross, Tony Wroten and CJ Wilcox.

Players like Darnell Gant, Terrence Ross and CJ Wilcox couldn’t step up in the second half of the game after coming out ahead in the first half. They were also terrible from the free throw and 3-point lines.

Managing Editor Q recaps the Washington Huskies vs. Washington St. Cougars hoops matchup from Sunday. Washington State (9-8, 1-4 Pac-12) saw forward Brock Motum hit all five of his first-half shots to lead the Cougars to a 31-25 lead at the break. Tony Wroten only had 13 points for UW, C.J. Wilcox was out, and Darnell Gant had 13. Terrence Ross was the star on Sunday with 30 points and 14 rebounds.
