NWSB Insider & Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens is back with another update live from Bing Training Camp at the VMAC. Brett goes over each aspect of the Seahawks team in his own words. From a couple missed plays, to the exceptional play of Brandon Mebane, to a bit of a scare when Marshawn Lynch came up holding his groin. It’s all here. P.S. Lynch was back a few minutes later, so nothing to worry about here.
NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson talks about Percy Harvin’s reported hip injury at the start of training camp. Harvin isn’t dying, he didn’t have his leg severed, and as of right now, there is still a lot of speculation as to how serious his injury is. And though I do tend to over-analyze things at times, Seahawk fans really need to learn to wait this one out before sending the man get well cards like he’s contracted the worst disease you could think of.
NWSB Editor and Insider gives you three question marks surrounding the Seattle Seahawks before they head into training camp next week. Questions surrounding the backup quarterback battle Tarvaris Jackson vs. Brady Quinn, and production at wide receiver including Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin and Percy Harvin. Plus the health of the d-line all have Chris potentially worried about the start of 2013. He assures Hawk fans not to fear, however…
NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens brings us up to speed from the VMAC on the 2012 Seahawks training camp. He was at practice on Tuesday and has some observations to share. KJ Wright was mentoring Bobby Wagner (after practice) and he saw Breno Giacomini mentoring 7th round pick J.R. Sweezy. Training camp is just better in Cheney.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Reggie Gill tells us what is going on during training camp with regards to Matt Flynn, Russell Wilson, Tarvaris Jackson and the Seatle QB competition. He brakes it down Love ‘ em & Hate ‘ em style providing key points to the positive and negative of the race for the job. No matter who wins Flynn, Jackson and Wilson, and even Portis will be better QB’s.
NWSB Managing editor “Q” weighs in with another 2012 NFL article on the Seattle Seahawks. On Monday the Seahawks traded a 7th round pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Kellen Winslow Jr. Neither Cameron Morrah or Anthony McCoy were going to be the answer for the Seahawks as the 2nd string TE in 2012. Winslow is an immediate upgrade at the position. It’s also no secret that Seattle was looking to beef up the position.
