Vancouver Canucks blogger Josh Hall reports on the news from the NHL today that Vancouver Canucks forward Cody Hodgson has been named the January 2012 NHL Rookie of the Month. Hodgson, who turns 22 in just over two weeks time, led all rookies in scoring with 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 11 games. He edged Philadelphia Flyers forwards Sean Couturier and Matt Read for votes.
