NWSB insider and Washington Huskies football blogger Clinton Bell gives us an update from Huskies camp as we embark on this 2012 NCAA football season. Two of the biggest questions heading into camp still aren’t resolved. Who will take over for Chris Polk, and who will be the backup for Keith Price. The races have been narrowed down to two men each, Biship Sankey and Jesse Callier will factor in.

ASJ is up for the top TE honors with the Mackey Award, and Price is up for two with the Maxwell, top player, and the Davey O’Brien, top QB.

Another Bowl season for the Dawgs perhaps?

First tough match up will be down in Baton Rouge against the LSU Tigers. If the Huskies play a flawless game, they walk away as winners. Oregon will be the team to beat in the Pac-12 this year, and the Huskies will not stand a chance, unless Keith Price plays above a Heisman level.

The Seattle Times reports Montana, who just finished his redshirt freshman season at UW, will transfer to a junior college — reportedly either Blinn (Brenham, Texas) or El Camino (Calif.) The pressure is clearly on Keith Price now to make some more progress at the QB position in Seattle.
