Seahawks insider Brandon Choate reached out via Twitter and snagged Seattle Seahawks Tight End Cameron Morrah to ask him a few questions. Morrah dishes about playing TE, playing for Pete Carroll and his future and role with the Seahawks. After starring at Cal, Seattle chose Morrah in the 2009 NFL draft. He suffered an unfortunate turf toe incident before making a comeback at the end of last season.

Eddie very recently set up a twitter account, the next step could be him in Vancouver Canucks uniform.
Vancouver Canucks insider The Flying V – Kevin Vanstone has put on his Inspector Clouseau cap this week and has broken the Chris Higgins mystery illness wide open. Thanks to the wonders of public WiFi and unencrypted networks, NWSB has obtained emails exchanged between Higgins and Head Coach Alain Vigneault dating back over the last week, giving insight into the New York native’s unique injury.

Vancouver Canucks blogger Josh Hall reports on the news from the NHL today that Vancouver Canucks forward Cody Hodgson has been named the January 2012 NHL Rookie of the Month. Hodgson, who turns 22 in just over two weeks time, led all rookies in scoring with 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 11 games. He edged Philadelphia Flyers forwards Sean Couturier and Matt Read for votes.
