A win over Toronto and Lions teammates Shawn Gore and Tim Brown also earned weekly honours. Gore was named Top Canadian and Brown was selected as Special Teams player of the week. The Lions sit relatively comfortably atop the West division standings.

Once again the Lions will have to face off against a formidable opponent from the Eastern Time Zone, but the Double Blue show up a little black and blue after a hard fought war with Hamilton, and will be without their best Running Back. Both Geroy Simon and Kierrie Johnson are set to return.

On defense led by the duo of Adam Bighill and Anton McKenzie and the tag team of Keron Williams and Khreem Smith who have tallied 11 QB sacks, the Lions have found multiple ways to halt their opponent.
