NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with his 6 reasons to love the Seattle Mariners no hitter against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kevin Millwood went 6 no hit innings again this season, leaving early with an injury, but the M’s bullpen led by Stephan Pryor and five others kept the no hit bid in tact. A little luck was in play as well, as the game winning hit was deflected off of Dodgers short stop Dee Gordon’s glove, allowing Ichiro to score from third.

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with another M’s Week That Was. Intended to be a fun column, with lots of laughs and other good stuff. Justin Smoak named offensive player of the week, Stephen Pryor hits 100 on first MLB pitch, Ichiro goes deep twice in Chicago.
