NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his Love Em & Hate Em recap from Wednesday nights match up with Sporting KC. Not a win, but we did earn a point in the 1-1 draw. A fast paced game with a ton of scoring chances, no one could grab the winner. Steve Zakuani was finally brought back up to the first team squad, though he didn’t see any time during the match. Patrick Ianni got the equalizer.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his Love Em & Hate Em recap from Saturday nights match up with the Montreal Impact. Another game without a win, and it was a devastating loss for the Sounders. 1-4 away to Montreal. The lone bright spot was a late goal a man down to Eddie Johsnon. A red card issued to Jhon Kennedy Hurtado left the Sounders shy of eleven men, and keeper Bryan Meredith just couldn’t keep the ball out of the net tonight.
NWSB Inside and Sounders FC Blogger Jason Green weighs in with his gameday preview for Saturday’s matchup between the Montreal Impact vs. Seattle Sounders. At press time, the MLS odds were Montreal 2.90 / Seattle 2.40 / Draw 3.25. On another side note, here is the goal video by Osvaldo Alonso scored in last-night’s game against Cal FC. What a cracker!
NWSB insider and Portland Timbers blogger Chris Anderson brings us his reasons why the Timbers must bounce back after a crazy loss to a NON-MLS side Cal FC this week. He says the Timbers must find a way to not only tie AT LEAST two games in the month of June, they must come away with AT LEAST two wins. A win against the Galaxy keeps Portland’s undefeated MLS streak alive.
NWSB insider and Portland Timbers blogger Blair Thomas brings us his reasons why he is a die hard fan of Portland Timbers soccer! With the love that the Timbers Army, and Timber Joey give, there is no place like Portland in North America to watch a soccer match. Jeld-Wen Field is filled to the rafters for each game, with the rabid Timbers supporters. The Cascadia Cup brings the Tri-City geographical rivalries back to the spotlight in the Pacific Northwest.
