NWSB Insider and Vancouver Canucks’ blogger talks about Seattle potentially receiving an NHL team and why they are long overdue for one. It seems fairly certain a team will be moving to Seattle now within the next five years, and heck, it could even happen next season if the current deal being deliberated in the land of the desert dogs doesn’t go down as planned. Regardless, it makes for some fun day-dreaming of all the possibilities that come with an NHL hockey team in Sea-Town.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell brings us a special piece about the difference between the Mariners and the Seahawks. History shows us that teams get more fan support when they win, but even if defeat, the Seahawks fan base has been much more supportive than the Mariners. I give the ownership’s of these two teams credit for that. The Seahawks ownership is always moving forward, while the Mariners ownership seems content on being a lousy team.

NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson talks about the Portland Timbers and the Cascadia Cup. The Timbers must win this game, they cannot settle for a draw. Though a draw would give them nine points in the cup chase to tie the Sounders, the drubbing they received in Seattle was enough to give the Sounders an advantage in goal differential over the Timbers.

NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his Love Em & Hate Em recap from Sunday nights match against the Los Angeles Galaxy. After a very quick strike off the head of Eddie Johnson, the Sounders never looked back. With goals from Freddy Montero, Alex Caskey, and Andy Rose, the 4-0 win was the largest of the year in MLS play for the Sounders. Clean sheet for MIchael Gspurning as well.
