LA Galaxy vs. Sounders FC playoff blog: love ‘em & hate ‘em

Galaxy vs. Sounders

NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his Love Em & Hate Em recap from the Sunday night 2nd leg playoff match with the LA Galaxy. The Sounders team that we all love was out there finally tonight, but it was just a little too late. Yes, the Sounders won the game, but they lost the battle to the Galaxy, who now will go on to face the Houston Dynamo for the MLS Cup. NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his Love Em & Hate Em recap from the Sunday night 1st leg playoff match with the LA Galaxy. I don’t know who was out there wearing the Rave Green tonight, but it definitely was not the Sounders team that I have watched all season long. What a mess of a game, sloppy on offense with nobody wanting to take chances, and just plain out played on defense. Now we have the task of winning at least 4-0 to advance to the MLS Cup.

NWSB Insider and Seattle Sounders writer Clinton Bell brings us his 2012 MLS Playoff preview for the Sounders FC vs. LA Galaxy 2nd round series. Seattle will have to find a way to beat Josh Saunders in the first game, to make the 2nd game at home an easier road to the MLS Cup. Michael Gspurning will have his hands full with the plethora of Galaxy shot takers.

After a very quick strike off the head of Eddie Johnson, the Sounders never looked back. With goals from Freddy Montero, Alex Caskey, and Andy Rose, the 4-0 win was the largest of the year in MLS play for the Sounders. Clean sheet for MIchael Gspurning as well.
