Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

buccaneers-seahawks-football-golden-tate_pg_600

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with his weekly Hawks week that was piece. Tough win eh? Again the Seahawks went to the brink against a far inferior team, only to come away with another W. These close games aren’t as fun as people say they are. Russell Wilson led the charge once again and Marshawn Lynch had a beastly game on the ground. Jermaine Kearse fumbled, but made up for it with a nice TD grab…

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with his weekly Hawks week that was piece. Tough win eh? If it wasn’t bad enough that our O line couldn’t protect our stars, the D line seemed to be just as bad. The Rams did whatever they wanted on the ground to the Hawks all game long, except when it counted. Russell Wilson ran for his life. Golden Tate taunted his way to a huge TD. Paul McQuistan couldn’t block anyone…

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell is back with his seventh Seahawks Moments In Time piece of the 2013 season. Another win on the road, and this one was a lot more decisive than the score portrayed. Wilson looked like the magician he is once again, and the D-line tore it up by getting 7 sacks. Brandon Browner almost took it to the promised land but tripped up on a patch of uncut grass, I think. And, the 12th man was out in full force in hostile territory…

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell is back with his sixth Seahawks Moments In Time piece of the 2013 season. Back in the winning column after their close victory over the Tennessee Titans. This game wasn’t too pretty, but a win is a win and that’s all that counts in the NFL. Marshawn Lynch led the way with two TDs, and Steven Hauschka showed us all just how important he really is.

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell is back with his fifth Seahawks Moments In Time piece of the 2013 season. The rode into Indy on their high horse, and came out a bit more humbled than they were before. The Seahawks finally lost their first game in 2013, and it wasn’t due to their lack of trying, this shoot out was everything the hype promised it would be. A tough game against a very strong opponent. Russell Wilson vs. Andrew Luck was everything and then some.

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell is back with his fourth Seahawks Moments In Time piece of the 2013 season. This week the Seahawks needed a bit more than the 60 minutes normally allotted for a football game. The 23-20 victory was more about the gut and determination of this team than it was about us going 4-0. To be completely out of a game and to win is just remarkable. Kudo’s to Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Brandon Mebane & Richard Sherman…

Still a lot of questions as we head into the Seahawks preseason opener

960x595

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell takes a look at the state of the Seahawks on the eve of their preseason opener against the San Diego Chargers. Injuries are the biggest question mark in his mind, and they are seriously looking like they make a dent in the celebration plans of a lot of Seahawks fans. The Championship Offseason has been nice, but it’s time to get back down to earth. What will Cliff Avril, Christine Michael, Golden Tate, Bruce Irvin, and Sidney Rice do in the preseason?

The new power couple of the NFL: The 49ers-Seahawks rivalry

49ers @Seahawks 2012

Seattle Seahawks blogger Chris Hall weighs in with a piece about the budding rivalry that is becoming one of the best in the NFL, the Seahawks vs. 49ers. Let’s face it, there is no team, player or fan that us Hawks fans hate more than that of the Niners. Last years matchup in SF did nothing but add to the hatred we have, but at least it eclipsed with a 42-13 win for us at home in the second game. This year it’s on! Pete Carroll vs. Jim Harbaugh, Russell Wilson vs. Colin Kaepernick.

Percy Harvin to have surgery, miss 4 months

Percy Harvin

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with the news of the Percy Harvin upcoming surgery scheduled for Thursday. Harvin will end up missing a substantial amount of time for the Seahawks. It is predicted that the earliest he can return would be November. He will have to be back and able to play by week 11 or he will have to be put on the injured reserve list for the second straight year. Pressure is on Golden Tate, Sidney Rice & Doug Baldwin now.

VMAC training camp notes: Seahawks day 4 #BingHawks

russ training camp

NWSB Insider & Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens is back with another update live from Bing Training Camp at the VMAC. Brett goes over each aspect of the Seahawks team in his own words. From a couple missed plays, to the exceptional play of Brandon Mebane, to a bit of a scare when Marshawn Lynch came up holding his groin. It’s all here. P.S. Lynch was back a few minutes later, so nothing to worry about here.

What the %!@# was Russell Okung thinking?

Seahawks still in the running for NFC West + 1st Round Bye

Russell Wilson

NWSB Insider and Seahawks blogger Ben Tole talks about Seattle’s 2012 NFC conference playoff chances after the Week 14 demolition of the Arizona Cardinals. With 8 wins already the Seahawks will turn in their best regular season since 2007. With Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch leading the way we should be in store for a great finish to a dramatic season. Here’s to hoping we are still talking about the 2012 Seahawks in 2013.
