Seahawks Playoff Party Will Be Piercing, Polar Cold

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, previews the Seahawks first playoff game of the 2015-6 NFL season– The Seahawks will face off against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Wild Card match up, a team that they simply destroyed on the same field just four games ago. All it means is that the Seahawks already have a proven battle plan to take the Vikings out of the playoff race early with another decisive victory in Minnesota.

Seahawks Stun Cards To Wrap Up The Regular Season

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, reviews the Seahawks stunning win over the Cardinals in Glendale Sunday– Face it folks, Russell Wilson is the real deal. He’s on his way to the playoffs for the fourth time in his career and quite possibly, the Super Bowl for the third time in his career. 10 years from now we’ll have to debate whether or not he’s better than Peyton Manning.

The Finale – Seahawks At Cardinals To End 2015/16 Regular Season

NWSB writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, previews the Seahawks final regular season game for the 2015 season against the Arizona Cardinals– Arizona is one of the top two teams in the NFL right now and the Seahawks area beat up with injuries all over the place. Seattle will have to play a nearly perfect game in all three aspects to beat the Cardinals on their field.

Seahawks Still Struggle To Stymie St. Louis

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, breaks down the Seahawks loss to the Rams and details the playoff scenarios– The best any Seahawks running back could muster was Fred Jackson who had two carries for 11 yards. Bryce Brown had nine yards. Christine Michael, the starter, had just six yards on six carries. In fairness, Wilson did have 39 yards running the ball, but mostly he was running for his life rather than for yards or first downs.

The Seahawks Are Home For The Rams In Week 16

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks insider, Brian Scott, previews the Seahawks home rematch against the NFC rival St. Louis Rams– The Seahawks defense has had a lot of success against inexperienced QBs the last several weeks. They beat Johnny Manziel, Jimmy Clausen, and Teddy Bridgewater over the past three games. The formula for disrupting the young passers was similar in each of the three games.

Make No Plans For January 10th — The Seahawks Are In The Playoffs

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, reviews the Seahawks latest win, this time over the Cleveland Browns– Wilson’s performance since the Seahawks lost to Arizona has been ridiculously good. It’s also been good enough that you have to consider him for the MVP award over Cam Newton. Just imagine where the Seahawks would be right now if Wilson had not played in their last five games. Isn’t that what defines an MVP?

Down The Home Stretch —  Seahawks Host Browns

NWSB writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, previews the Seahawks homecoming against the Browns– For years, everyone has talked about how Russell Wilson wasn’t elite, how he wasn’t the kind of QB that could put a team on his shoulders and take them to another level. It was always Marshawn Lynch or the great defense that somehow made Wilson’s contributions something less that elite.

Seahawks Win Big In Baltimore — Move Into 5 Seed

NWSB Writer, and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, breaks down the Seahawks win over the Ravens– The Seahawks may have won big over the Ravens, but it came at a price in terms of injury. Thomas Rawls, whom I already mentioned, is out with a broken ankle. That ends his season. Derrick Coleman will be asked to step in as the next man up. I suspect signing another runner will happen this week as well.

Battle Of The Birds —  Ravens Host Seahawks

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, previews the Seahawks as they head to Baltimore– It would be silly to ignore the devastating injuries the Ravens have been saddled with. The Seahawks have had their fair share of injuries too, but in the Seahawks case, the injuries have been a catalyst of team unity, dedication, and desire. For the Ravens, they have simply rolled over and died.

The Seattle Seahawks Plunder the Minnesota Vikings

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, reviews the keys to victory for the Hawks as they beat the Vikings 38-7– The Seahawks defense was absolutely suffocating the Vikings. I mentioned already Peterson finishing with 18 yards but the Vikings as a team had just 31 yards. The dominance by the defense allowed the Seahawks to possess the ball for 35:10 vs the Vikings 24:50.

Road Trip — Seahawks Visit Vikings In Key Matchup

NWSB writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, previews the Hawks upcoming game against the Vikings– As the NFL playoff picture comes into focus, the Seattle Seahawks still find themselves riding a very fine line. While it’s true if the Seahawks season were to end today they would make the playoffs, there is little to no margin of error for Seattle. Continuing to win is the only insurance for the Hawks in this scenario but their biggest remaining challenge to do so is up next—the Minnesota Vikings.

Seattle Seahawks Offense Awakens—Drops 39 On Steelers

NWSB Writer and Seattle Seahawks Insider, Brian Scott, breaks down the Seahawks huge win over the Steelers– The Seahawks gave up nearly 200 yards of passing in just the first half and in the second half things only got worse for the Seattle secondary. Before leaving with two minutes to play with an injury, Roethlisberger threw for 456 yards against the LOB. The lack of a consistent pass rush allowed the veteran Roethlisberger to sit in the pocket for hours and pick the Legion of Boom to pieces.
