My oh My! Top play of the week for the Seattle Mariners

Look for Franklin to continue to lead the Mariners in the future.

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell tells us to him the best “MY oh MY” play of the thirteenth week of the year had to be the two homer day by Nick Franklin against the Minnesota Twins. With the first bomb, Franklin put the M’s in the lead. With the second one, he moved into the lead for most HRs by rookie second basemen and overall rookie RBI leader. I think we have found a winner in Franklin at second.

NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson looks ahead at the next five games for the Seattle Mariners. After stumbling against the Angels and the Rangers but getting a much-needed win yesterday, Seattle will take on the San Diego Padres for two games at home and on the road before wrapping up the month of May against the Twins in Minnesota. Hopefully Felix can get back in to prime form this week. Aaron Harang and Brandon Maurer will pitch.
