NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell tells us its the end of the line for Tacoma’s Marcus Trufant in a Seattle uniform. His bad back and lofty salary finally led to the end of his career with his hometown team. Clinton says Marcus Trufant has always been a class act, and he hopes that he continues his career in the same fashion that he played here in Seattle. NOT in the NFC West.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger and 12th man season ticket holder Brett Bivens says even if Peyton Manning is ready to go and play at the level he was at in the 2010 season he is better suited for a team that is a quarterback away from being championship contenders. One that has a window that will close in the next couple years. A team that comes to mind for him is the San Francisco 49ers.
Seattle Seahawks blogger and NWSB managing editor Q tells us the attorney for free agent linebacker Leroy Hill says charges of marijuana possession in Atlanta have been dropped. Hill’s lawyer, Edward T. M. Garland, says urine tests taken after the arrest came up negative. A team can now sign Hill without worrying about discipline from the NFL stemming from this incident.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger “Q” tells us this weekend LeRoy Hill and his girlfriend were arrested for marijuana possession…again. The 29-year-old Hill has now been arrested three times over the past three years, once for another marijuana charge and again for domestic violence. He was suspended one game and two additional game checks in 2010, and is now surely facing a lengthier ban.
NWSB Seahawks insider Jason Green brings us his reasons why the Seattle Seahawks should go ahead and sign Peyton Manning during 2012 NFL Free agency. Paul Allen is a great owner and he not only has deep pockets, but he does not meddle with the team and he wants to win right away. Perfect fit, right Peyton?
Seahawks insider Brandon Choate brings us his reasons why the Seattle Seahawks should pass on the opportunity to get Peyton Manning. His age, his high cost, his injury and his attitude are all good reasons why he will not be worth the investment for Pete Carroll, John Schneider and the rest of the Seahawks.
Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder and NWSB insider Brett Bivens tells us he just felt the need to write this blog post because enquiring minds might want to know. As an added bonus, mentioning the Super Bowl & Seattle Seahawks in the same article without the word D-E-T-R-O-I-T is kind of sweet too. Ex-Seahawks on the New York Giants World Championship Super Bowl XLVI team.
