Portland needs to give Lillard and Aldridge players who will compliment their styles. Should they choose to do so, they will see success in the near future. One thing Jason liked, was the move to try and get Roy Hibbert last off-season. That could have pushed them to the playoffs this season.

The young point guard from Weber State has been impressive so far as he has shown all it takes to be a standout point guard at the NBA level. Through four games, Lillard has played an average of 37 minutes, shot just over 40% from the field, made roughly 94% of his free throws, and scored 19.3 points per game.

McMillan was fired last season, and while his departure wasn’t the way most envisioned it, he has earned himself a permanent spot in Rip City’s history, alongside Brandon Roy.

At this point, it’s impossible to say what’s going on with Rip City.
