Richard points out last night was the most emotion he’s seen Alex Edler show in a long time. The blueliner, perhaps thinking he was playing forward also like Keith Ballard, came behind the Coyote net to challenge for a puck that Mike Smith had come out to play. WHAMMO!

While there was impressive play from the Canucks–at times–they needed a greater effort on the ice if they were going to come away with anything from this game. Among things that frustrated Richard was the lack of impressive play when Vancouver had a power play advantage.
