NWSB Editor Bryant Knox gives us his weekly analysis of Portland Trail Blazers head coach, Terry Stotts. This past week, the team went a perfect 5-0, taking down the Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets. Throughout the week, Stotts did a good job of letting his roster play its game. LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard, Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews are all allowed to take quick shots, and they take full advantage. Unfortunately, the coach is falling into the trap of playing his starters too many minutes.

Bryant Knox previews the Portland Trail Blazers March 27 matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Portland is coming off of a five-game road trip; one in which saw the team go 2-3 against playoff opponents and one near-playoff team. The push for the playoffs begins now, and a win at home is the best way to start. The key matchup is going to be at the small forward position. Gerald Wallace and Nicolas Batum used to fight for the starting spot in PDX, but when the team turned Wallace in Damian Lillard, it instantly became Batum’s.

Bryant Knox previews the Portland Trail Blazers Nov. 25 matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The Portland Trail Blazers are set to take their first trip to the East Coast this Sunday, and it will begin a seven-game stint where the team will be away from the Rose Garden. They key matchup in this one will be in the pain between J.J. Hickson and Brook Lopez, but the battle between Damian Lillard and Deron Williams will be fun to watch.
