Three things to watch for in the Beavers vs. Warriors game

The Beavers need to utilize their ground attack against Hawaii.

NWSB Insider and Oregon State Beavers Blogger James Crabtree-Hannigan gives us three things to watch out for in the Week 2 matchup against the Hawaii Warriors. First and foremost, the team needs energy bouncing back following the loss to Eastern Washington. Along with energy, the team needs to utilize Storm Woods and the running crew, even if Sean Mannion is on a roll. Defensively, this team has to make up for Jordan Poyer being gone, and they have to do it quickly.

Fearless Predictions: Oregon State football

Beavers Predictions

NWSB Insider and Oregon State Beavers Blogger James Crabtree-Hannigan gives us five fearless predictions heading into the 2013 college football season. First and foremost, Sean Mannion will keep the starting job over Cody Vaz. Also, at the end of the season, expect the Beavs to take down the Stanford Cardinal. Along the way, look for Terron Ward and Victor Bolden to have big years.

NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson talks about Oregon State’s time on the podium at the 2013 Pac-12 Media Day. Picked to finish behind Oregon and Stanford in the Pac-12 North, the Beavers should be an elite team but could face some problems with elite talent. Don’t think that will ever hamper Mike Riley’s spirit, as he was just as positive as ever at the 2013 Pac-12 Media Day.

NWSB insider and OSU blogger Jon Irwin brings us his rundown of the Oregon State Beaver’s five biggest games in the upcoming 2013 college football season. Improvements the Beavers can make on offense in 2013

Sean Mannion

NWSB blogger and Oregon State insider Jon Irwin reports on the areas he thinks OSU’s offense needs to improve in 2013. Mike Riley’s pro-style offense is deep in weapons, but it’s only effective if all the parts are working together. Without fixes to 2012′s problem areas, the team could be in for a disappointing season in 2013. Storm Woods (940 yards) was a huge reason for the turnaround, can it happen again?

The defense, once again, played lights out and did as good a job as they could with the field position the offense put them in.
