Mike Fisher had a three-point night for the Preds, who handed the Canucks their first regulation loss since Jan. 15. Pekka Rinne (32 saves) earned his 33rd win of the season. Vancouver entered the game 14-2-4 in their last 20 games. Roberto Luongo played great but took the loss.

Nice game by David Booth as well, he’s really hitting his stride.

After the teams traded goals during the first, third and fifth rounds of the shootout, Ryan Kesler skated in and wristed a shot past former Canucks backup Jason LaBarbera. Roberto Luongo then denied Boyd Gordon’s backhander to preserve the victory.

Alex Edler scored in the sixth round of a shootout, and the Canucks beat the Predators 4-3 Tuesday night for their fifth win in six games. Edler beat Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne. Colin Wilson tried to extend the shootout for Nashville, but was stopped by goalie Roberto Luongo.

Jay McClement and David Jones scored goals for Colorado, but it wasn’t enough as Kevin Bieksa scored the tying goal, and Mason Raymond converted the only tally in the shootout as the visiting Canucks escaped with a 3-2 win. Roberto Luongo made 44 saves.
