NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson talks about the John Moffitt trade to the Denver Broncos for Sealver Siliga. First rumored to be heading to the Cleveland Browns on Monday, it was then announced the trade was rescinded because he failed a physical that was required to complete the trade. Winslow is an immediate upgrade at the position. It’s also no secret that Seattle was looking to beef up the position.
NWSB insider Brandon Choate brings us an interesting take on the Seattle Seahawks holding the 12th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. Do they trade the 12th pick for extra spots in the draft? Or do they choose the player they are in love with? Leave it to Pete Carroll and John Schneider to make the best of the situation…no matter what. Melvin Ingram, Quinton Coples, Ryan Tannehill? We’ll know Thursday.
Seahawks beat blogger Matt Larkin is wondering even though Seattle Seahawks Head coach Pete Carroll continues to say he’s comfortable with Charlie Whitehurst and Josh Portis while Tarvaris Jackson is out, isn’t the thought of reuniting with his old USC signalcaller tempting? Carson Palmer, and David Garrard are both available via free agency…
