Seattle Seahawks blogger and NWSB managing editor Q tells us the attorney for free agent linebacker Leroy Hill says charges of marijuana possession in Atlanta have been dropped. Hill’s lawyer, Edward T. M. Garland, says urine tests taken after the arrest came up negative. A team can now sign Hill without worrying about discipline from the NFL stemming from this incident.

The 29-year-old Hill has now been arrested three times over the past three years, once for another marijuana charge and again for domestic violence. He was suspended one game and two additional game checks in 2010, and is now surely facing a lengthier ban.
