Relax Seattle! Seahawks loss no cause for concern

Marshawn Lynch

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Ben Tole weighs in today with his opinion on the state of the Hawks after a week 7 loss to the 49ers. He says the defense has proven it is one of the elite units in the NFL; says we have a rookie QB in Russell Wilson who’s had to grow up in a hurry but has proven that he can handle the pressure, and we have the best hard nosed running back in the NFL in Marshawn Lynch.

The Baltimore Ravens Torrey Smith and the power of sport

On the cutdown list today Phil Bates, Edawn Coughman, Donny Lisowski, Ron Parker, Tyrell Sutton, Roy Lewis, Jamison Konz, Cameron Morrah, Pep Levingston, Terrell Owens, Deuce Lutui, and guard Alex Barron.

Which Terrell Owens will the Seahawks get? The cancer or the cure?

Terrell Owens

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Jordin Ereth weighs in on the Terrell Owens signing by the Seahawks on Monday. The man has talent, he has experience, but most of all the man has attitude. Paired up with Sidney Rice, along with Zach Miller and Kellen Winslow at the tight-end positions, the term “towers” comes to mind. Matt Flynn will have his safety nets, no doubt about that. In the words of TO, “Get ya popcorn ready.”

The Marshawn Lynch DUI arrest is a bad deal for Seahawks

Marshawn Lynch DUI

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Reggie Gill weighs in today with some opinion on the Marshawn Lynch DUI arrest news coming out of Oakland this past weekend. He states this just couldn’t have happened at a worse time. He asks the questions, are the Seahawks prepared to start rookie Robert Turbin, Leon Washington, or gasp… Kregg Lumpkin? Maybe move Michael Robinson up into Lynch’s position?

Pete Carroll & John Schneider must be smiling wide.

A few things I love about Seattle re-signing Leroy Hill & Matt McCoy

LeRoy Hill

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens tells us on Friday the Seattle Seahawks agreed to terms with free agent linebackers LeRoy Hill and Matt McCoy. Both with the club in the 2011/12 season. Hill played in all 16 games for the first time in his seven-year career, registering 89 tackles and 4.0 sacks. Linebacker and special teams stud Matt McCoy also signed a one-year deal.

Seattle Seahawks 2012 QB competition will be close! Jackson vs. Flynn

Tarvaris Jackson

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Matt Church weighs in on the upcoming 2012 Seahawks quarterback competition between incumbent Tarvaris Jackson, and newcomer Matt Flynn. Jackson has struggled consistently with his decision making skills. Flynn needs work in completely different areas. He lacks the velocity that is expected for most NFL starters (but so did Matt Hasselbeck!).

I love the Marcus Trufant signing by the Seattle Seahawks
