Seattle avenged their previous loss in the season to Arizona over a dominant first half performance from Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck good enough to last through the rest of the game.

After seeing him on TV this week “Q” decided to write a Northwest Athlete Profile on former NFL punter and Colorado Buffalo and North Delta Secondary school athlete Mitch Berger. In 2008 he won a Super Bowl ring for the Steelers and in the big game had 3 punts averaging a legit 46.3 yards per punt. Kudo’s for a great career and representing Canada in the NFL.

The Seahawks dominated as Shaun Alexander scored twice and the Seattle defense, led by Marcus Tubbs, Michael Boulware, Lofa Tatupu and Andre Dyson, made life miserable for the Eagles.
Another North West Athlete in the spotlight today. Former University of Washington Huskies tailback Corey Dillon. A former Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots accomplished running back as well. Dillon etched his name in the record books again on October 22, 2000 with a game for the ages. 278 rushing yards, breaking Walter Payton’s 23-year-old record for most in a single game.
Matt Larkin goes inside ex-Washington Husky, New England Patriot and Seattle Seahawk veteran Lawyer Milloy’s stellar career which started right here in Tacoma. Milloy won multiple Super Bowls after claiming Pac-10 accolades while with the Washington Huskies before mentoring Seahawks safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.
