He’ll average $7m a year and run thru 2014. The Seahawks now have a mentor for rookie Bruce Irvin locked up. The timing of this deal also suggests that Seattle may have gotten Clemons on more of their terms.

Breaking News: Seahawks re-sign Marshawn Lynch to multi-year deal

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brandon Choate tells us the Seattle Seahawks signed running back Marshawn Lynch to a multi-year contract Sunday. The team did not disclose terms of the deal, but Jay Glazer reported it was for four years and $31 million, including $17 million guaranteed.

Baldwin is the third Seahawk player to be honored this season. Chris Clemons, and David Hawthorne were the first Seahawks earlier this year to receive weekly awards.
