NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson continues predicting the way Seattle’s 2013 season will play out. At this point in the season, entering game nine, Chris expects Seattle to have found their identity on both offense and defense. They should be cruising on offense and figuring out their best defensive front with Bruce Irvin in the mix. They’ll have some tough tasks ahead, however, with the Falcons and Saints on the schedule.
NWSB Insider Reggie Gill brings us his analysis of the Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. He questions whether or not Pete is on the Seahawks HOTSEAT. While Pete is a defensive Coach by his pedigree the Head Coach is ultimately responsible for all positions on the team, including the QB. And the Seattle QB competition is important. One has to wonder would another 7-9 record send Pete packing?
Seahawks insider Brett Bivens brings us news of a three new Friday signings in Seattle. Guard Deuce Lutui, linebacker Barrett Rudd, cornerback Roy Lewis sign one-year deals with Seahawks. Don’t overlook Seattle’s agreement to bring back cornerback Lewis, who was a special-teams captain in 2010. Lineman Deuce Lutui ranks as the biggest addition the Seahawks made Friday. All-in-all a very busy day.
Another North West Athlete in the spotlight today. Ex-Husky Jerome Pathon who spent his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and Saints notably after shining at the University of Washington.
