Series Analysis: First impressions from the Mariners trip to Japan

Felix Hernandez and Jason Vargas both pitched well, but couldn’t get run support despite youngsters Dustin Ackley and Justin Smoak both going yard. If things don’t shape up, this could be another long, low-scoring season for the Mariners.
