While the injuries have been a problem, Seattle is lucky to be sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference. Top goal goes to Patrick Ianni for his mid air volley against Sporting KC. Best player so far is Osvaldo Alonso, without him, the Sounders would be in a world of hurt.

After 60+ games the Vancouver Canucks GM Gillis has made his move and the team has the time and motivation to utilize the gifts he has given them. We are about to embark on another heck of a ride down the stretch run. Vancouver has begun to truly assert itself as a difficult team to break down. Roberto Luongo, Daniel Sedin, Ryan Kesler, David Booth, and Sami Salo are on top of their games.

After 43 games the Vancouver Canucks the Vancouver Canucks have continued to solidify their excellent form, leaving their mediocre start as an increasingly distant memory. Henrik Sedin’s production remains superb. Dan Hamhuis ruled the roost a few weeks back, but Kevin Bieksa has been in the form of his life since then. Daniel Sedin holds serve with his top five league wide place in scoring.
