Welcome to Seattle Spencer Ware… Running back LSU

He's more than likely being drafted to compete with Michael Robinson.

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks Blogger Brett Bivens recaps the team’s sixth round pick, Spencer Ware. Brett says most experts feel Ware is another running back the Seahawks have brought in who has a colorful history that includes suspensions. This one is drug related, not punching related, not gun related (Marshawn Lynch). Worst case scenario is that Spencer doesn’t make the team and Michael Robinson has a new fire lit under him.

NWSB Picks! The top 5 Seattle Seahawks of the 2012/13 season

Bobby Wagner

NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson gives you his top five performers for the Seattle Seahawks this year. To say the Seattle Seahawks had a somewhat surprising season in 2012 would be an understatement. While they did come into the new year with a youthful roster that was built on potential, many believed the Seahawks would be a middle-of-the-pack 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7 team. Russell Wilson, Earl Thomas, Bobby Wagner, Marshawn Lynch & Richard Sherman make the grade.

Seattle Seahawks 2013 personnel in review: The Offense

Lynch

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Jordin Ereth weighs in with part 2 of his year in review. A look at the Seahawks 2013 offense. The offense begins and ends with rookie 3rd round draft pick Russell Wilson. The words describing the greatness of this young man are endless. To put it simply, there is no quarterback on this earth I would rather have leading my team than Wilson. Such a positive attitude and he brought life to a city that needed it.

Playoff traditions: Second guessing Pete Carroll

Pete Carroll

NWSB insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Phil Slater weighs in who is to blame for the Hawks’ loss to the Atlanta Falcons. For that, we have to start at the top—head coach Pete Carroll. When a head coach has two players of Russell Willson and Marshawn Lynch’s caliber, you have to keep the ball in the hands of the backfield. Also, the game plan clearly didn’t call for Tony Gonzalez to be such a crucial part of the conest.

Hey Pete Carroll! Key strategies for Seahawks to take down Atlanta

Marshawn Lynch

NWSB insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Phil Slater weighs in today with another post on the strategy and tactics that could help the Hawks take down the Atlanta Falcons in their NFC playoff matchup. Phil says for a Seattle victory, look for Coach Carroll to get the ball to Marshawn Lynch 25 times, let Russell Wilson run the play action and take advantage in the special teams.

Seahawks that could make the 2013 Pro Bowl

Richard Sherman + Brandon Browner

NWSB Insider and Seahawks’ Blogger Ben Tole talks about which Seahawks could potentially make the 2013 Pro Bowl. 2012 has been a memorable season for the Seattle Seahawks. An 8-5 record with three games remaining with big wins against Dallas, Green Bay, New England, and Chicago has Hawk fans thinking playoffs. Now the question that remains is not how we will remember the regular season but rather what Seahawks will make us remember the regular season?

Touchdown Seahawks! Golden Tate does something different

Golden Tate TD

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Alistair Corp breaks down the play of the game from the matchup with the New York Jets. Golden Tate has done just about everything for this years Seahawks team except kick a FG. This past marvel was a TD pass on a bootleg screen to a wide open Sidney Rice. The play helped the Seahawks beat the New York Jets.

Touchdown Seahawks! Marshawn Lynch takes it 77 yards!

Marshawn Lynch Touchdown

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Alistair Corp breaks down Marshawn Lynch’s play of the game against the Detroit Lions in week 8. The Seahawks lined up in their ’22′ formation with two Tight End’s and two Running Back’s. The players in this package were Anthony McCoy, Zach Miller, Michael Robinson and, of course, Russell Wilson under center. Lynch caught the pitch and took it 77 yards to the house.

Five Seahawks who put the Special in Special Teams

Leon Washington

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Alistair Corp breaks down which Seahawks have stood out on special teams this season. On days when the Seahawks defense can’t hold on (granted they are on the field for the majority of the game) and the offense is… well being the Seahawks offense, the Special Teams help out both units. Leon Washington, Heath Farwell and Steven Hauschka has been the offense’s saviors this year.

NWSB Exclusive: Catching up with former Seahawks fullback Mack Strong

Where Is Mack Strong When We Need Him?

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Alistair Corp made us all jealous a couple weeks ago when he was able to catch up with former Seahawks All-Pro fullback Mack Strong. The definition of a class act, he answered all Alistair’s questions, and wasn’t TOO obnoxious when he beat me him a throwing contest (the difference between a 16-year NFL pro and a sports writer we suppose). Mack weighs in on Super Bowl XL.

What I’m watching for Thursday in the 49ers vs. Seahawks match up

Marshawn Lynch

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Jordin Ereth brings us up to speed on the storylines he’s watching Sunday when the Hawks travel to San Francisco, to take on one of the three NFC West leading teams. Coming off a huge win against the Patriots, Seattle looks for another win against a team incredibly similar to their own. Will Russell Wilson pave the way to another win?

Touchdown Seahawks! Beastmode finishes off a GREAT drive!

So far this season, Marshawn Lynch has been most of the offensive production. Photo Credit: Yahoo Sports

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Alistair Corp tells us the best Seahawks TOUCHDOWN in week 4 vs. the Rams was the Marshawn Lynch’s 18-yard run. They run a play with no tight ends, but Michael Robinson brings in some blocks while Beast Mode does the rest.
