NWSB Insider and BC Lions blogger Phil “The Bartender” Slater brings us his analysis of Khalif Mitchell’s CFL suspension being upheld today. CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon ruled finally. First round draft pick Jabar Westerman will get his first start of the season in Mitchell’s absence. Mike Benevides has also called upon rookie free-agent Maurice Evans to suit up.

Kirby Fabien, a 6’6” 290lb Offensive Tackle, was a rock for the Dino’s. Rounding out the draft for the Black and Orange were OT Matt Norman from the University of Western Ontario and LB Jordan Verdone
