The Mariners are now 20-27, 10 games behind the Texas Rangers, and in need of some changes. And it looks like we’ll get some very soon, as moves have been rumored in the past day that could really shuffle the big league lineup. A Jesus swap is taking place. Jesus Montero down to Tacoma, Jesus Sucre up to Seattle.

Shawn Kelley called back up to the Seattle Mariners bullpen

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with some M’s roster news this week. Shawn Kelley has been moved back to the big league bullpen from Tacoma. To make room for Kelley, fellow reliever Erasmo Ramirez was sent down to Tacoma in a move that skipper Eric Wedge says is to condition him for a possible emergency starter role with the big league club.
