NWSB Editor Bryant Knox profiles Northwest athlete Luke Ridnour. After a successful high school career in Washington, the point guard became a star with the Oregon Ducks. He went to the Elite 8, won Pac-10 Player of the Year and eventually returned to Washington when drafted by the Seattle Supersonics. Ridnour has spent time in the NBA with the MInnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks, but he will always be a product of the Pacific Northwest.
NWSB Insider and Oregon Ducks blogger Blair Thomas brings us a good piece on point guard Garret Sim who is under the spotlight for the Ducks. In his four years in Eugene, Sim has witnessed the transition of the program that few others have ever experienced. Most importantly, the point guard has led his Ducks and validated the trust the former Blue Jays coach put in him from the first day he arrived in Eugene.
