NWSB Writer and Seattle Mariners Insider, Brian Scott, gives us his thoughts on Taijuan Walker’s most recent performance– You are spoiled by Felix, Seattle. Walker can and will be an amazing, dominate pitcher. It’s just taking him a little longer that it did a guy who likely will end his career enshrined in Cooperstown in Hernandez and that’s just not a fair comparison or expectation for Walker.
NWSB Writer and Seattle Mariners Insider breaks down the M’s off season moves so far and what likely lies ahead for their roster. Seriously, if you won’t trade Walker or Paxton for Kemp or Upton why would you give either of them up for Zobrist? NWSB Writer and Seattle Mariners Insider Brian Scott gives us the latest on the M’s search for a right fielder. NWSB inside and Mariner blogger Jon Irwin is recapping the Seattle Mariners attempted trade for rightfielder Justin Upton. The proposed trade would have sent Upton to Seattle, and in return the D-Backs would receive Charlie Furbush, Stephen Pryor and prospects Nick Franklin and Taijuan Walker. While the deal looked like a done deal, Upton invoked his no-trade clause and will stay in Arizona—for now.
NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners’ blogger Jeff Budke talks about five potential players that could soon be on the Mariners’ roster. This list includes some ideas that will probably have changed by press time, and is ignoring the Jason Bay deal to Seattle that seems imminent according to Geoff Baker of The Seattle Times. Could we be seeing Jason Hamilton, Michael Bourn, and Justin Upton coming into Sea-town as well?

Seattle continues their pursuit of outfield help, with interest anywhere from Jason Bay to Justin Upton. Also making headlines is the M’s desire to keep Felix a “Mariner for life,” as well as their push for Billy Butler.
