NWSB Insider and B.C. Lions’ blogger Ben Lypka recaps the Lions’ last contest against the Edmonton Eskimos . Giving game balls to Buck Pierce, JR Larose and Stefan Logan. Lypka goes on to say not only did Logan have a good game on offense, he also was a beast on the return game. He averaged over 20 yards on kick returns and close to 10 yards on punt returns and those yards were sorely needed by the Lions – especially in the first half.

He said to watch for Strong Side Corner, Safety, Receiver, Back Up/Third String Quarterback, and Kicker as the best battles to view. 23 year old Hugh O’Neill will look to unseat Paul McCallum. Yes he`s talking kicker. Travis Lulay`s backup isn`t clear. Thomas DeMarco and Jarrett Brown and now Joey Elliot will duke it out.

BC Lions and Ending Violence BC awarded BCAB humanitarian award

BC Sports Writer Josh Hall attended the BC Association of Broadcasters 65th Annual Conference this week and sat in on a press conference attended by some of the BC Lions including Travis Lulay and their partners with the Ending Violence Association of BC. The presser was to announce a major humanitarian award for the two organizations and Josh has the story after the jump.
