The teams faced off in 2006 in the same setting, except Seattle was cold and snowy as Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander effectively handled Brett Favre and the Packers 34-24. Alexander rushed for 201 yards on a record 40 carries.

Seattle Seahawks nostalgia in this weeks Moments In Time. In 2007, the Seattle Seahawks headed to Soldier Field in Chicago to take on the Bears in the divisional round of the 2007 NFL Playoffs. The game was back and forth as Shaun Alexander rushed for 2 touchdowns and Nate Burleson caught one, but Bears kicker Robbie Gould had the ultimate say in the game.
Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens weekly NFL Love Em Hate Em football blog. He recaps and rewinds the St. Louis Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks Week 14 Monday night football matchup. The Seahawks won the primetime game. Brett loved the Seahawks Special Teams units, including Doug Baldwin and his blocked punt and kick return. Robert Gallery and the O-line protected and ran blocked well for Marshawn Lynch.
