The Seattle Seahawks signed defensive tackle Jason Shirley and placed longtime veteran (9th year with the Seahawks) CB Marcus Trufant on injured reserve officially ending his 2011/12 season. Sophmore Walter Thurmond, Roy Lewis or Brandon Browner will start in Trufant’s place.
