First up Mitch says Ryan Kesler is still rehabbing from two off-season surgeries, and we’re going to see a big hole to start the year down the middle on the second line. Andrew Ebbett, and Jordan Schroeder are competing for the spot. We know Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin and Alex Burrows will man the top line.

This time he’s telling us that the fans aren’t the only ones getting sick and tired of the latest installment of the Lockout. Cory Scheider is taking his talents to Switzerland, where he will be tending goal for Ambri Piotta of the Swiss National League A.
NWSB insider and Vancouver Canucks blogger Richard Hodges tells us once again with the NHL lockout drying up the income for NHL players could start to dwindle. He points out the more desperate Andrew Alberts, Kevin Bieksa, Cory Schneider, Roberto Luongo, Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows will be to get some revenue. Last week we looked at the “ideal” odd jobs the Canucks would be getting. These are the “Desperate” jobs.

Mitch thinks that although he doesn’t make a lot of money, Lapierre doesn’t want to stay a 4th line center for the rest of his career. We’ll know more in July of 2013.
