Special teams hurting the BC Lions

NWSB Insider and BC Lions blogger Andrew Deutschmann weighs in today with the question of whether or not the special teams unit is hurting the Lions. Sure, the Lions are off to a 2-1 start, but as Andrew points out, they could just as easily be 0-3 at this point. The offense and defense have been great, but it’s the special teams that have really lacked this year. Whether it is not giving the O good field position, or some bad snaps and holds, or to flat out missing extra points, the play just has not been good enough. Plain and simple.

Yes he`s talking kicker. Travis Lulay`s backup isn`t clear. Thomas DeMarco and Jarrett Brown and now Joey Elliot will duke it out.
