Pat Quinn was one of the hardest workers the league has ever seen in both his playing and administrative roles. He earned the NHL’s Jack Adams top coach award twice. He’s also probably the second greatest coach in team history.
Another North West Athlete in the spotlight today. Current St. Louis Blues, and Vancouver Canucks forward from Victoria BC Geoff Courtnall, Geoff won a Stanley Cup in 1985 with the Edmonton Oilers. He put up 61 points in 65 playoff games for Vancouver, 19 of those in 1994.
