The Mariners played comeback the whole game until Michael Saunders single-handedly changed the game for the Mariners. In the 9th, he tied the game with a homerun. It all unraveled in the 5th, though as the Indians scored 7 to tie the game at 8 and eventually went on to score 1 more for the win.
Did you miss the LA Kings vs. Vancouver Canucks Wednesday night? Great game for LA. Dustin Penner converted that bounce into the tie-breaking goal with 3:14 left to lift the Kings to a 4-2 victory and a 1-0 lead in their Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Canucks at Rogers Arena. Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler tied the game at 2-2. It could have been a lot worse if not for Roberto Luongo.
It’s Christmas eve in every hockey fan’s home as the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs are set to begin Wednesday. Here in Vancouver, we just want a Cup.
