Oregon Ducks 2012 football season rewind

Kenjon Barner Heisman

NWSB Editor and Insider Chris Anderson recaps what was Oregon’s 2012 college football regular season. The Ducks made their way to an 11-1 record fairly easily. They vanquished most of their opponents by the third quarter and only had close contests against USC and Stanford, one of which they lost. Their offense did not skip a beat with Marcus Mariota at the helm and De’Anthony Thomas and Kenjon Barner in the backfield.

Why Chip Kelly should remain with Ducks, not bolt for NFL

Chip Kelly ASU

NWSB Insider and Oregon Ducks blogger Bryant Knox makes a claim for Chip Kelly to remain with the team beyond the 2012 college football season. If Kelly stays, he has a chance to continue his legacy long into the future, especially with Marcus Mariota and De’Anthony Thomas in the backfield. He still has “unfinished business” at Oregon, and if he goes, there’s no guarantee he’ll build the same reputation as a football mastermind in the NFL.

Five NCAA stars who would flourish in Oregon’s offense

Let's play the what if game. How good would the Ducks be with Denard Robinson? Championship good? (photo nflamateurs.wordpress.com)

NWSB Writer and Oregon Ducks blogger Bryant Knox brings us a unique piece here, what if these 5 players chose the University of Oregon instead of their current schools. Chip Kelly would definitely have his share of options with these two QB’s. Both Collin Klein and Denard Robinson have what it takes to be the option QB that Oregon is always looking for. Knile Davis would challenge LaGarrette Blount style numbers for the Ducks.
