Ben Lypka our Vancouver Canucks insider and NWSB Blogger weighs in today with an opinion piece on the Canucks 2013 Stanley Cup fortunes. He says just wait till next year! I’d say the writing was on the wall when Vancouver refused to keep any of their young talent even for a seven game test drive at the start of the season. One of Bo Horvat, Hunter Shinkaruk or even Brendan Gaunce should have been given at least a short look. Next year is promising.

NWSB Insider and Vancouver Canucks Blogger Ben Lypka is back with a piece about the influence John Tortorella should have on Alex Edler. Throughout his career in Tampa, New York and now hopefully here in Vancouver, Torts has had the ability to get more offense out of his defensemen. Alex Edler is no spring chicken, but hopefully he’s still young enough to learn some new tricks from his new bench boss.

Sharks vs. Nucks Gm1

NWSB Insider and Vancouver Canucks blogger Mitch Dyck brings us up to speed on the storylines he’s following with regards to the Round 1 Stanley Cup playoffs clash between the San Jose Sharks and our Canucks. Mitch says
in order for Vancouver to take this series, and he thinks they will, it will take four complete games, no relying on anything other than outplaying their opponent. And Cory Schneider must lead by example.

Vancouver Canucks blogger Richard Hodges tells us what the Sedins have to do to lead the Vancouver Canucks to the 2012 NHL promised land. Yes that’s right. Hoisting the Stanley Cup. Henrik Sedin & Daniel Sedin took a lot of crap in last year’s playoffs for naught. They were whiners, divers, chokers, weak, sisters, etc etc. They can right the ship in 2012. Let’s get it done.
