2014 Seahawks schedule released & some early predictions

Even if he plays, Chancellor will not be 100% out there.

Let the games begin Before the announcement of the schedule I was willing to bet money that the Seattle Seahawks would host the Denver Broncos to open the NFL season.  Week two, in an unusual move, I expect the Seahawks to travel to San Francisco to open Levi Stadium against the 49ers. In all actuality the Seahawks will […]

Seahawks MMQB: Super Bowl Championship Monday!

Doug Baldwin, Seattle Seahawks

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens brings us this week’s MMQB after the stunning lopsided win in Super Bowl XLVIII. Early on I noticed Russell Wilson was having a little bit of difficulty dealing with his nerves. As soon as he hit Doug Baldwin down the near sideline with a touch pass over the defense his nerves disappeared. After 30 years of being a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan we’ve reached the pinnacle.

Marshawn Lynch

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens will weigh in each week with his blueprint for a Seahawks win. This week the team has a matchup against the St. Louis Rams. Brett says the 12th man needs to show up big this week. The other important factor is that Pete Carroll’s squad plays disciplined football.

Seahawks MMQB: Humbled at home

Baldwin Penalty vs. Cardinals

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks’ blogger Brett Bivens once again brings you Monday Morning Quarterback! Breaking down yesterday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Brett says clearly the official who thought the ball bounced off of Doug Baldwin’s arm had a more convincing argument because the call on the field was an interception. Russell Wilson lost a game at CenturyLink Field for the first time in his career. Shocking.

Week 14 Endgame: The blueprint for victory – Seahawks vs. 49ers

Russell Wilson

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens will weigh in each week with his blue print for a Seahawks win on Sunday afternoon. This week the team has a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Brett says the Seahawks’ players must dig deep to match the intensity of the 49ers, who have their backs against a wall. Players like Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, Marshawn Lynch, Russell Okung, and Max Unger must have the best games of their season.

Seahawks MMQB: Seattle sends the Saints marchin’ home

When you have a quarterback like Russell Wilson...and we do!

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks’ blogger Brett Bivens once again brings you Monday Morning Quarterback! Breaking down yesterday’s Monday night Saints vs. Hawks game. Great games were had by Michael Bennett, Russell Wilson, Zach Miller, Doug Baldwin and Byron Maxwell.

Week 13 Endgame: The blueprint for victory – Saints vs. Seahawks

Lynch vs. Saints

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens will weigh in each week with his blue print for a Seahawks win on Monday night. This week the team has a matchup against the Drew Brees led New Orleans Saints. The Russell Wilson led Seahawks must find a way to move the ball and it all starts with special teams. If the units can give the offense a short field to work with Seattle should be able to put up some points. If Percy Harvin cannot play it will make the task a bit tougher.

Seahawks (Friday) MMQB: At home in the desert

Carroll vs. Cardinals Week 7

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks’ blogger Brett Bivens once again brings you (Friday) Monday Morning Quarterback! Breaking down yesterday’s Hawks vs. Cardinals game. Going into the game Brett expected holding onto the ball to be a priority. Ball security has been an issue lately. On Thursday the Seahawks had 4 offensive fumbles, 3 by Russell Wilson and 1 by Marshawn Lynch who recovered his own. Seattl still found a win. Sidney Rice, Zach Miller had huge catches.

Week 6 Endgame: The blueprint for victory – Titans vs. Seahawks

Max Unger

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens will weigh in each week with his blue print for a Seahawks win on Sunday. This week the team has a matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The keys include protecting Russell Wilson, tackling and using Marshawn Lynch to pound the Titan’s defense. Also, containing Chris Johnson and Ryan Fitzpatrick can’t be overlooked.

Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans Week 6 gambling odds & handicapping

Marshawn Lynch

NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks’ blogger Dave B previews Seattle’s Week 6 Sunday game against the Tennessee Titans and gives you his prediction on where your bets should be put. Quite frankly, you should feel bad for the Titans. Marshawn Lynch is due for a big game, the defense has been fantastic and the 12th man is going to be brutal. Expect Russell Wilson and crew to have a huge outing.

Seahawks fantasy forecast – Week 3 NFL predictions

25 rushes for Lynch, please. Nothing less will do.

NWSB Fantasy Football Insider and Seattle Seahawks’ blogger Dave B delivers to us his Week 3 NFL fantasy football forecast for the Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game. Dave says that Marshawn Lynch will be the go to guy this weekend and thinks he will net 120 yards on the ground. If, for some reason Pete Carroll wants to run up the score against his old friend, Lynch could go for a lot more. Dave expects Lynch to have a short day on the field though. Other notables include Wilson who probably won’t need his arm too much, but the Hawks D is a must for all fantasy owners.
