NWSB Insider and Vancouver Canucks blogger C-Mac tells us the Canucks embarked on their latest road trip tonight, first stop at the capital of Alberta, to find an overly hospitable Oilers group that coughed up a 5-2 gift to the Canucks with a goal and an assist each for the Swedish brothers. Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin had quite the weekend putting up a ton of points.
Vancouver Canucks blogger C-Mac points out whats not to love about defenseman Kevin Bieksa, from great quotes to great play he’s glad he’s on the home team. Bieksa’s career plus/ minus is a +17. A reasonable figure, but not yet Hall of Fame stuff. A healthy Bieksa on a settled team could mount a serious assault on improving those numbers. With a personality like Bi-es-ka, at least the dressing room provides some relief.
