Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler tied the game at 2-2. It could have been a lot worse if not for Roberto Luongo.

They now play the LA Kings in the first round on Wednesday. Henrik Sedin ended a 22-game goal drought by scoring with 4:13 left in the second period, Roberto Luongo made 17 saves for a shutout.

Maxim Lapierre scored the tying goal late in the second period and added the shootout clincher. The Canucks rallied after Cory Schneider took over, with Alexandre Burrows scoring his second goal as well. David Booth was stopped on a penalty shot.

Mike Cammalleri rifled a long one-timer past the glove of Roberto Luongo 51 seconds into the third period to put the Flames ahead 2-1. Marc-Andre Gragnani tied the game with 8:15 left. Maxim Lapierre also scored and Henrik Sedin has two assists. Andrew Ebbett returned from injury to score in OT and booked Calgary a tee off time.
