Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. Dallas Stars Sunday afternoon? Sunday’s win ended the Stars’ seven-game losing streak against Vancouver. Dallas did an impressive job of holding Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin in check for the entire 60 minutes. The Sedins finished the game with just one shot between them. Roberto Luongo stopped 25 of 28 shots in a losing effort.
Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. New Jersey Devils Friday night? Defenseman Aaron Rome scored his first goal in 29 games and Cory Schneider turned aside 30 shots as visiting Vancouver secured its NHL-leading 84th point by downing New Jersey. The Canucks improved to 4-0-0 this season when Rome scores a goal.

Alex Burrows who yesterday played in his 500th game scored the only goal of the shootout on the Canucks last shot of the night. Roberto Luongo kept Vancouver in this one thruout making several key stops. Daniel Sedin tied this game with 15 seconds left in the third period.
Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. Nashville Predators Tuesday night? A 3-1 regulation time loss for Van-City. Mike Fisher had a three-point night for the Preds, who handed the Canucks their first regulation loss since Jan. 15. Pekka Rinne (32 saves) earned his 33rd win of the season. Vancouver entered the game 14-2-4 in their last 20 games. Roberto Luongo played great but took the loss.
Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. Edmonton Oilers game Sunday night? A 5-2 regulation time win by Van-City. The Canucks are 10-0-3 since their last regulation loss, a 4-2 setback against the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 15. Henrik and Daniel Sedin each recorded a goal and an assist. Chris Higgins and defensemen Sami Salo and Kevin Bieksa also scored.
Did you miss the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Vancouver Canucks game Saturday night? A 6-2 regulation time win by Van-City. The Canucks’ current run against the rest of the NHL is almost as impressive, a 9-0-3 stretch that has them back within two points of Detroit atop the Western Conference. Henrik Sedin & Daniel Sedin managed four points each. Alex Burrows scored two nice goals.

After the teams traded goals during the first, third and fifth rounds of the shootout, Ryan Kesler skated in and wristed a shot past former Canucks backup Jason LaBarbera. Roberto Luongo then denied Boyd Gordon’s backhander to preserve the victory.

A 2-2 time after regulation saw Olli Jokinen score in the shootout, Alex Edler missed, Alex Tanguay missed, Alex Burrows scored, Jarome Iginla scored, and Mason Raymond missed, giving Calgary a 3-2 victory. Miikka Kipprusoff got the win. Roberto Luongo the loss.

His brother Daniel Sedin also scored, as did Ryan Kesler, Maxim Lapierre, and Manny Malhotra. Cory Schneider got the win.
